Crusaders 1-2 Institute
Carling Premiership - Saturday, 28th November, 2009
TWO Paul Lowry goals helped Institute complete a Carling Premiership double over a Crusaders side now on seven games without a win.

Lowry opened the scoring for John Gregg's side after just four minutes with a volley past Chris Keenan after a Sean Friars corner was knocked into his path by Ruairi Boyle.

Crusaders levelled four minutes later, though, through Jordan Owens who rose to power a header from a Chris Morrow cross beyond the reach of Gavin Cullen.

But, in an amazing opening period, the visitors regained the advantage within sixty seconds when Lowry found himself unmarked with only Keenan to beat and showed great composure to slot the ball home from the edge of the area.

Crusaders enjoyed plenty of possession as they continued to chase the game and might have levelled through Gareth McKeown who fired a stinging effort wide of the target while, in stoppage time, David Rainey came agonisingly close to salvaging a point only for his close range header to strike an upright.
