Cork City 4-1 Dungannon Swifts
Setanta Sports Cup - Monday, 22nd September, 2008
DUNGANNON Swifts concluded their Setanta Sports Cup campaign with this crushing 4-1 defeat to Cork City.

City opened the scoring on 23 minutes when Darren Murphy headed home after getting on the end of a Danny Murphy free-kick.

Number two arrived six minutes from the break after Pat Sullivan set Liam Kearney up to blast the ball into the net.

Shea McGerrigan pulled one back for Dungannon nine minutes into the second half when he dispossessed Sean Kelly before rounding 'keeper Mark McNulty only for Denis Behan to restore Cork's three goal advantage from the spot on 63 minutes.

And Darragh Ryan completed the scoring seven minutes after that, turning home a Joe Gamble cross.
