Marc McCann got the ball rolling for the Swifts on 15 minutes when he provided the finish to a Ryan McIlmoyle cross from the left.

And it was 2-0 on 18 minutes through Timmy Adamson when he finished from the edge of the area after a one-two with Michael Ward.

But the Amateur League visitors were given a glimmer of hope four minutes later when Swifts leader scorer Neill McCafferty was shown a straight red card by referee Graeme McIlwrath following an altercation with Conor McHugh.

The tie was put beyond doubt, though, on 43 minutes when Adamson floated the ball over from the left for McCann to finish with a superb left-foot volley.

Then, on the stroke of half time, McIlmoyle added number four before Adamson grabbed his second of the game three minutes after the break with a 20-yard drive which squeezed under the body of the 'keeper.

Ward completed then scoring four minutes from time.
