Glenavon 1-2 Institute
Carling Premiership - Tuesday, 6th April, 2010
INSTITUTE recorded their first win in ten outings to climb off the foot of the Carling Premiership with this victory over Glenavon at Mourneview Park.

John Gregg's side, who face Lisburn Distillery in a huge six-pointer on Saturday, needed just eight minutes to take the lead when Ryan Semple pounced on a poor Hugh Davey clearance to squeeze the ball past the reach of 'keeper Andrew Plummer.

And they doubled their advantage ten minutes later through David Ogilby from point blank range after a Sean Friars corner had been headed onto the woodwork by Paddy McLaughlin.

Glenavon pulled a goal back eight minutes from time when Gavin Cullen attempted to grab a Trevor Molloy effort only for the swerving ball to work it's way into the net.
