THE Whites moved in front on 31 minutes through Gary Liggett after he made the most of a Thomas Lambe mistake to fire low into the bottom corner.
DC almost levelled moments later only for Paul McVeigh to somehow send the ball over from just six yards out.
They did get back on level terms, though, on 65 minutes when McVeigh successfully fired home a penalty awarded for a Liggett handball in the area.
Substitute Neal Gawley twice came close for the visitors in quick succession when first Kevin Keegan cleared a goalbound effort away before 'keeper Robert Robinson did well to deny a header.
Jordan Forsythe restored Distillery's lead six minutes from time with a simple tap-in after Liggett had squared from the left.
However, DC salvaged a point two minutes into stoppage time courtesy of a low Eamonn McAllister drive.
